Collateral Evaluation Specialist

Join our team as a Collateral Evaluation Specialist, where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of asset evaluations used in the lending process, contributing to risk management and operational excellence.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Preparing and verifying documentation related to collateral evaluation reports.
• Providing preliminary value estimations and consultancy regarding assets proposed as pledge/mortgage.
• Ensuring full compliance of internal procedures with group‑level standards, national legislation, and NBM regulations.
• Reviewing and validating evaluation reports prepared by external evaluation companies.
• Maintaining updated records and databases related to evaluated assets and pledged collateral.
• Conducting on‑site inspections of assets when required.
• Collaborating with other departments to clarify evaluation‑related issues.
• Monitoring the value of pledged assets in accordance with internal policies and risk requirements.

Qualification requirements:

• Higher education in technical/economic fields;
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a bank or evaluation company;
• Possession of a qualification certificate is recommended;
• Analytical skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Open, positive, and tolerant personality;
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and punctuality;
• Team spirit;
• Knowledge of Romanian, Russian, and English;
• PC skills.
